Your own domain name
You can have your own unique address (www.YourName.com) on the Internet that is yours forever. All of our sites offer this feature, because it is the most important of all.

Microsoft® FrontPage®
Allows you to use MS FrontPage to create your site and add all web bots components. All of our web site Hosting packages accommodate the FrontPage extensions.

Disk Space
Our packages offer generous amounts of hard-drive space you can use for your web site. To get an idea of how much space you need, you can compare it with our site. Our entire web site is smaller then 3 Mb (including programs, html pages and graphics).

Traffic allowance
Traffic is the amount of data sent from and to your domain, basically a measure of how popular your site is. This includes web site traffic (http & https), FTP (normal and anonymous), Real Media (if you are using it) and Email. It is a fact that 99% of our web sites do not exceed 500 Meg of traffic per month.

POP3 email
POP3 emails are real email addresses (anyname@yourdomainname.com) that are stored on the server in a mailbox. Emails sent to these email addresses can be retrieved via any email application and from any ISP anywhere in the world. POP3s may be added or edited instantly by using your control panel.

Alias email
Alias emails are different from POP3 Emails. These are virtual email accounts (anyname@yourdomainname.com) that are actually forwarded to another email account (anyname@anydomainname.com). For example, sales@yourdomainname.com forwards to yourname@yourdomainname.com. Aliases may be added or edited instantly by using your control panel.

Default email
In addition to POP3 and Alias email accounts, you can specify that all emails sent to users for which you don't have email accounts set-up for to get sent to a default email account that you specify. The default email may be added or edited instantly by using your control panel.

Unlimited auto responders
Autoresponders are automatic email messages that are immediately sent from the server to someone that emails an email account at your domain (anyname@YourName.com). For example, you can set-up an auto responder for sales@YourName.com so that when someone sends a message to sales, they will automatically receive a message (telling them that, for example, someone will get back to them shortly).

Unlimited FTP (24hrs/day)
FTP is the process of transferring your pages and graphics from your computer (or any computer) to the server. You have the ability to do this at anytime and as many times as you want.

Full custom CGI execution capability
CGIs are programs or scripts that add interactivity and enable dynamic capabilities for your site. You can install these anywhere and run them, even in the secure layer. In addition, you can use our web-based file manager (in the control panel) to set permissions on your files and directories.

Access to our CGI script library
We currently have multiple scripts (small programs) that you can use at will. Our library currently contains a mail form, a counter and a random image displayer. In addition, we provide you with hundreds of trusted third party scripts (guest books, banner rotation, advanced mail forms, etc..) that you can also use freely.

Perl, C, C++, Java™, JavaScript, ASP, VBscript, ActiveX™, SSI, PHP
You can use all of the above computer languages for scripts or programs. Yekan Network always supports the latest versions of these languages.

Data Source Name (DSN)
DSN stands for Data Source Name. A DSN is the name that applications use to request a connection to an ODBC data source.

Shockwave, QuickTime, Flash, Vivo and Emblaze
All our sites can use the new plug-ins and latest technology for audio, video, virtual reality, 3-D and animation.

Shared Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
SSL allows you to encrypt information such as credit card numbers or other confidential information so that it is impossible to intercept during transmissions. Having an SSL layer greatly increases customer trust when buying from your site.

Microsoft® SQL Server 6.5
Yekan Network offers the enterprise Microsoft® SQL Server 6.5 on our high-end NT solutions for people that require state-of-the-art database technology. We have dedicated a powerful quad Pentium II NT server for MS SQL in order to provide the fastest queries possible.

Cold Fusion
Cold Fusion is a popular scripting language for mid-level site builders that want advanced site development using the simplest scripting language. Along those lines, Cold Fusion enterprise is the only fully-capable markup language that delivers.

Microsoft® Access & FoxPro database support
Microsoft Access is the best selling database in the world since it comes bundled in Microsoft Office. Nonetheless, it is powerful and fully compatible with ASP scripting, making it the most popular database tool in the world. This feature is available on all NT packages.

Microsoft® Active Server Pages
Active Server Pages (or ASP) is a scripting language developed to make dynamic web sites easier to build and manage. It is extremely fast and offers a lot of flexibility since scripts can be written in Visual Basic, ActiveX™ or JavaScript.

Microsoft® Visual InterDev & Office support
All of our NT sites can enjoy the office suite of applications as well as Visual InterDev, the latest site and database publishing tool from Microsoft.

RealAudio® and RealVideo®
You can use the RealMedia™ technology from RealNetworks™ to stream audio and video from your site. Streaming is beneficial for audio and video because it reduces wait times for viewing files. Call us for details.

mSQL & mySQL databases
mSQL (or mini sql) from Hughes Technologies and mySQL are fast Unix databases that support a simpler version of the standard SQL language. Yekan Network offers you your very own databases in which you can create as many tables as you wish. We have also created simple interfaces from which you can administer the database right from your control panel.

Microsoft® Index Server search engine
Index Server is an advanced search engine only available on our high-end NT web Hosting packages. Index Server allows for an efficient search of your web site since it is fully customizable and can be set not to require constant re-indexing.

Controllable anonymous FTP
Anonymous FTP allows you to set-up an additional "public" directory that anyone can download files from and upload files to. This feature can be used with the browser or any FTP application. Anonymous FTP is managed by using your control panel file manager.

Daily statistical hit analysis using Analog
Yekan Network provides daily traffic reports of your web site on the UNIX platform and its performance, right from your control panel. This includes traffic, hits, files, hosts, directories, all categorized by hour, day, week, etc.

Access to raw log files
In addition to stats, we provide you with your raw log files so that you may run them through your own hit analysis software for more advanced reporting. These files may be downloaded through FTP.

Daily Tape Backup *
Yekan Network's state-of-the-art tape back-up system is in place primarily as a disaster recover system in case of a server crash or some similar catastrophe. As an added service, Yekan Network does provide restoration of customer files and entire sites when requested -- however, these requests can only be fulfilled during certain hours of operation. This means that there are a very limited number of hours per day when we can do restorations, because that particular process can span the majority of a day. If we happen to get several requests for restorations, or if those requests involve a large number of files, we may not be able to complete all of them in the time frame available, meaning a delay of up to 24 hours before the next opportunity.

* Cost to restore a site: 400,000 Rials per hour, minimum one hour.
* Log files are not included in daily tape back-up routines.
